Astro deliver a range of Unified Communications to Rydon Construction including a contact centre and IP telephony to multiple offices in the UK and remote workers. Astro support the UC platform alongside an Oak call recording, Aruba wireless LAN and LifeSize video conferencing solution. With over 200 users on the network with remote offices delivered over a WAN with local PSTN lines for failover. Rydon also make full use of the ShoreTel ad-hoc voice conferencing solution as a way of saving money on travel time and improving operational efficiency. Astro provide a fully managed service and support role ensuring maximum uptime and availability. Given the variety of locations Rydon have in the UK, having a centralised management console which is accessible from any location provides a high degree of control while ensuring the IT team have the flexibility they need.
