The Challenge
When relocating, Harris Global needed an infrastructure partner who could move rapidly to meet their timescales on LAN infrastructure and cabling in their new office. Given that Harris is a fast growing dynamic business, they were also looking for a partner who would consider the requirements for their future while ensuring the costsand service were appropriate for the here and now.Harris needed a provider of reliable, high quality internetaccess to support their cloud-based applications andhosted VOIP telephony service. Having experienced issues with poor connectivity before they needed a business grade service provider who would pro-actively monitor the network for issues and failures.
The Solution
Astro were selected as the partner to deliver the LANand cabling for the new office as we demonstrated a level of flexibility and willingness to work with the building management company, the fit out company and Harris to ensure the solution was fit for purpose and delivered against some fairly challenging timescales. At the same time, Astro provided a high speed Ethernetinternet connection as well as an Ethernet over Copperback up solution segregating out voice and data traffic to ensure a high quality service on both. Configured in a way which both circuits fail over between each other in the event of a loss of service, Harris Global are protected form a failure in either technology.
