Astro Communications is delighted to announce it has been shortlisted in Total Telecom’s first ever Culture Change Awards. We are in some prestigious company – see all the finalists here.
As a company with culture at our very core, this Award is particularly rewarding and we are looking forward to attending the prestigious World Communications Awards later this month when the winner will be announced.
The World Communication Awards have been run by Total Telecom since 1999 and are the most hotly contested measure of innovation and excellence in global telecoms. This year they launched the new Culture Change Award which recognises organisations that are best progressing in transforming cultural attitudes throughout their business – a vital measure of success in progress in digital transformation.
Steve Hodges, CEO of Astro Communications said; “To be shortlisted in these new, but important awards is an honour for Astro; it is not the first time we have been in the spotlight for our positive organisational culture and the transformation we have gone through to ensure that we are set apart from many of our competitors culturally. The IT Managed Service market and Technology businesses are not renowned for having positive company cultures, but we work hard to keep it at the very core of all we do for the benefit of our customers and the whole Astro team. I am absolutely thrilled that we have been recognised for this from such a prestigious, global organisation.”
Rob Chambers, Managing Director of Total Telecom said; “We were delighted to see companies from across the telecom industry recognise the importance of the new Culture Change Award. We especially applaud those on the shortlist who have employees demonstrating that they embracing the changes required by their organisations, adding value to creating an amazing customer experience”
Having delivered services for over 30 years, following some organisational transformation that commenced five years ago, Astro continues to grow from strength to strength and has featured in the Top 50 growing companies in Kent for two years in a row. We have won a number of prestigious awards as well as many new customer contracts while maintaining customer relationships, some of which extend over three decades.
