They have established a new concept of the ‘modern public house’ by successfully transforming both historic and modern buildings into contemporary spaces that have a strong sense of identity and integration within the local communities they serve. They are rapidly expanding, and developing a reputation in the market place for excellent food, high standard accommodation and exciting growth aspirations.
The Challenge
Oakman Inns wanted to streamline their systems and ensure each of their locations achieved superfast bandwidth to support customers’ requirements. This was particularly important as the chain introduced innovative and progressive solutions to create the best possible guest experiences. High levels of support at each location as well as their main office were also a requirement.
The Solution
Oakman chose Astro to provide them with extremely high speed internet connectivity, a high performance WAN and wireless network, business grade IT and complete network support. We worked with their chosen specialist partners for the delivery and support of forward- thinking technology solutions.
We devised an IT Support contract which included periodically having a person on site, remote engineering work and cabling and infrastructure delivery for all new site openings and refurbishments. We continue to provide ad hoc support for events such as the Solihull Summerfest and The Betsey Wynne music festivals.
